Updates on Removal of CPF Standard Query

Please be informed of the following changes to the required CPF-related information to be submitted in divorce applications

From 1 March 2024 onwards,

1. Parties above 55 years old and own a matrimonial property are no longer required to submit the returned CPF Standard Query form when filing the Originating Summons for Divorce or the Memorandum of Defence.

2. Instead, parties must provide the following required information:

  • Relevant CPF statements.

    For information on which sections must be downloaded and submitted, please go to Resources > Forms > S/No. 7.3 > Important Information on filing Originating Summons and S/No. 7.4 Instructions and Information for Defendant on filing Memorandum of Defence for divorce on the Syariah Court website respectively.

    Log into their Home Ownership dashboard via SingPass at www.CPF.gov.sg download the required information and submit in PDF format.

  • Parties who own a matrimonial property must (i) obtain information from CPF Board on housing refunds required to be set aside or topped up in their Retirement Account and (ii) submit the returned email in PDF format from CPF Board when filing the Originating Summons or Memorandum of Defence.

    The template email can be found on Syariah Court website at Resources > Forms > S/No. 4.1 Letter template to CPFB on housing refunds (for members who are 55 and above only).. Members or their solicitors should send this template email to the CPF Board through CPF.gov.sg/contact-us (for CPF members) or Business Partners My Mailbox (for solicitors).

3. CPF Board will not complete and return CPF Standard Query forms received from 1 March 2024 onwards.
